Rachel Cobb

Rachel Cobb is the Managing Director, Retailer Solutions.  The business partners with many of Australia’s leading retail partners including Harvey Norman, Myer and Coles to develop and market retail credit value propositions.

Rachel’s career has spanned five continents and three industry sectors; Aviation, Financial Services, and Media. 

Rachel began her career in London before spending six years in Hong Kong, initially with Cathay Pacific Airways and then NBC Asia as the Asian Regional Marketing Director. In this role, Rachel led the development and launch of two new satellite television channels.  

After moving to Australia, Rachel joined Ansett/Air New Zealand where she held a series of leadership positions including General Manager of Operations & Service Design; and Vice President Loyalty Marketing, leading two loyalty profit centres:  ‘Global Rewards in Australia and ‘Air Points’ in New Zealand 

Rachel joined an Aviation consulting firm, to lead a series of management consulting assignments in the Middle East, Eastern Europe, France and Africa.

Rachel joined GE Capital in mid-2006 as Marketing Director for Card Solutions, responsible for developing value proposition for retail finance products.  In October 2007, Rachel was appointed to the General Manager position for a number of GE Capital’s retail finance products. 

Rachel is currently the GE Women’s Network Leader in Australia and New Zealand; an organisation that supports the development of female talent across all GE businesses in the region.

Rachel was born in Bath, England.  She holds a Masters in Business Administration, and a Bachelor of Arts.  She is married to Patrick and has two daughters, Tara and Hannah.
